Solar Water Solutions proudly joins forces with ENFOS Solar at the Philoxenia Hotelia Exhibition in Thessaloniki, Greece, from 14–16 November 2025. This marks an important step in bringing off-grid desalination and solar-powered clean water solutions to the heart of the Mediterranean tourism sector.

Solar-powered desalination for cost-efficiency

At Philoxenia 2025 in Thessaloniki, ENFOS is showcasing how small-scale solar desalination — combining seawater and solar energy, two of Greece’s abundant resources — can deliver clean, potable water at costs as low as 0.30–1.00 €/m³.

Our containerized seawater (SWRO) and brackish water (BWRO) reverse osmosis systems provide a flexible way to build water capacity with lower financial and environmental costs. Designed in Finland, the modular units can be shipped anywhere and operated with minimal on-site expertise — ensuring automatic, affordable, clean water powered by the sun.

Earlier this year, representatives of ENFOS visited our headquarters in Finland to strengthen our technical collaboration and explore new opportunities to expand sustainable water access across Greece.
